Finally beat the game, love it...... Also my mouse broke

oof.  Well, at least it's an excuse to buy a cool new mouse!  (or download an autoclicker app, haha).

I loved it. Was watching the progress on Discord and was soo eager to play it. Good for you for making such a polished and beautiful game <3 Congrats.

Thank you so much!  :)

Thank you!  I drew some inspiration from NES Castlevania.  :)

Thank you!

game needs a sequel wher eyou play as the priestiess rebuiling and luanching a counter attack

I had some ideas about that, or possible a 1 vs 1 multiplayer clicker game, haha.

info on what each upgrade does would be nice

Updated in the description for now!  :)

I love the art style! The animations and effects really added a lot to the game.

Thank you!  I spent a lot of time on the art, as I really wanted the game to be visually appealing!

Very nice presentation. Did you lower the prices for the initial upgrades? Progress feels much smoother now.

The only change I made right before the due date was fixing the loop that spawned the curse balls.  It was supposed to be between 1 and 3 balls and was only spawning between 1 and 2.  Given the large amount of souls they generate, that could explain a faster progression curve!

I liked the idea of the game also I liked the graphics it looks fresh. I was disappointed that there was no music. It also seemed to me that the balance is too high and that the crystal does not decrease hp

(1 edit) (+2)

The crystal has intentionally VERY high health to make the game able to be played long enough to max out all of the upgrades.  Once all upgrades are maxed, crystal damage will ramp up much faster due to the hidden "extra" upgrade.

Music..I had a hard time thinking about what I should do...same with sound in general.  Clicker games are repetitive, so sound design is usually minimal or very very subdued.  Given the nature of this game, I figured the best way to play it would be keeping it open in a browser window while doing something else...or listening to your own music!  However, the soul ball generation and the curse meter timer will still keep you engaged vs a purely idle game.

Pretty good!

Thanks!  I put a lot of work into the sprites (I drew them all myself) and particle effects!  :D
